Ch-ch-changes…

About a month ago, I decided to move from Shopify to my own website because… reasons. (Mostly stubbornness, a dash of optimism, and possibly a head injury. The jury’s still out.)

Was it a brilliant move or a questionable life choice? Still undecided. Shopify does a LOT to make running a store easy—right up until you start adding all the plugins and apps that make it actually do what you want, at which point your wallet begins to weep.

Now, I do love the way my site looks. It’s prettier, more user-friendly, and I like to think it’s easier to navigate than my sock drawer. But the glow-up came at the cost of countless hours of work, occasional muttered curses, and the realization that I am, in fact, not a coder. (Shocking, I know.)

So, please be patient while I wrestle with the last few tech gremlins. I’m not open for business yet, but progress is happening—and soon, I’ll fling the virtual doors wide.
