Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for your purchase from Brass Cat Books! We want you to be completely satisfied with your order. Please review our return and refund policy, which applies to physical merchandise and print books only.

Overview

Our return policy lasts 14 days from the date of delivery. If more than 14 days have passed, we unfortunately can’t offer a refund or exchange.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • E-books and digital downloads (including reader magnets and bonus content)
  • Gift cards
  • Sale or clearance items
  • Customized or personalized products
  • Used books or items with visible signs of wear

Eligible Returns

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition as received
  • It must be returned in its original packaging
  • You must provide proof of purchase (email receipt or order confirmation)

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrived damaged or defective, email us at brasscatbooks@clroman.com within 5 days of delivery. Please include your order number and clear photos of the damage. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you via email whether your refund is approved.

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  1. Check your bank or credit card account again
  2. Contact your card provider — some delays are normal
  3. If it’s still missing after 10 business days, email us at brasscatbooks@clroman.com

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or shipped incorrectly. If you need an exchange, email us first at brasscatbooks@clroman.com.

Shipping Returns

To protect your privacy, we do not publish a public return address. Please email us first at brasscatbooks@clroman.com for return instructions and a shipping address.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was defective or incorrect. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we can’t guarantee receipt of returned items.
